Naturist beach located near Vela Luka, on the small islet of Proizd, also called "the island of love".

The city and port of Vela Luka in the western part of the island is an area less frequented by mass tourism and situated in a protected bay closed in by the islets of Osijak, Kamenijak, Gubesa and Proizd. Going south a series of bays that make the southern region one of the most savage and exciting places for those searching for a return to the primitive, uncontaminated and profoundly Mediterranean ambient full of colors, tastes and odors. One really must visit the islands around Vela Luka, the bays and little villages of Gradina, Triluke, Grscica and Prizba are the nearest and ideal for day trip.

Proizd beachIslet of "PROIZD", immediately outside the bay of Vela Luka, is an oasis of untouched nature - crystal clear sea, rocks, white pebbles, naturist beaches and lush vegetation are its main attractions. "Restaurant PROIZD" on the islet serves delicious seafood dishes, traditional grilled meat and the heady wines of Korcula (open daily from 09.00h to 18.00h). A boat sails from Vela Luka to island Proizd three times a day ( approx half an hour sailing ). Mediteraneo offers boat tours from Vela Luka to Proizd.
